A La Ecole–Beginning Reader in French

My five year old is learning how to read in French, so I created this little printable book for him.  He loves to read it over and over, and has colored in all of the pictures.  Grab a FREE copy from our Teachers Pay Teachers store to use with your students.

Teaching FSL has 100 facebook followers!

I'm hosting a giveaway over at Teaching FSL that includes some French and many other middle-school appropriate items, as well as some that might be appealing to teacher-bloggers as well.

Find the entry form on my blog entry dated today, and be sure to take a look at the list of prizes to think about what your first choice will be when you get an email notification (or blog notification, if you've subscribed) that you're one of the winners!  Deadline to enter is midnight EST Wed. July 11, and winners will be announced the next morning.

Readers' Theatre

Do you write your own readers' theatre scripts? Or adapt them from an English language source?  If you purchase them ready-made, what provider do you turn to first?  I recently located these bilingual & French language Reader's Theatre Scripts for $15.00 each.

I'd love to hear from you if you have any first hand accounts of using them in the classroom, as I'm looking into this option for next year!

Cheers!
